Founded in Charlotte in 2010, we work directly with our clients from the earliest ideas through construction and completion, bringing personal attention to every home and renovation we take on. President & Co-Owner | Licensed North Carolina General Contractor
Daron Gaon is the President and Co-Owner of Artistic Contractors and has been a licensed North Carolina General Contractor since 2006 and is the qualifier on Artistic Contractors’ North Carolina general contractor license #70053 (Unlimited, Building). He founded Artistic Contractors in 2010 after years of managing high-end residential construction and has since helped lead the company’s luxury custom home and residential development work throughout the Charlotte area.
Daron is closely involved in both the design and construction sides of the business. With a strong interest in contemporary and West Coast warm-modern architecture, he personally designs many of Artistic Contractors’ most distinctive homes using detailed 3D modeling and remains involved throughout design development, construction planning, material selection and the execution of complex custom details.
He also creates photorealistic 3D renderings for many projects, using them to study proportions, sightlines, spatial relationships, natural light and how spaces connect before construction begins.
As a licensed North Carolina real estate broker, Daron also brings experience in land acquisition, site selection and residential development, helping connect early property and design decisions with the construction process that follows.
His combination of design vision, hands-on construction experience and real estate knowledge allows him to stay involved from the earliest concept and site decisions through the details that ultimately shape the finished home.
Co-Owner & Vice President | Operations & Real Estate Development
Andrew Parker is Co-Owner and Vice President of Artistic Contractors. He is a Charlotte native and began working alongside Daron Gaon on residential spec projects in 2013 and officially joined Artistic Contractors in 2017.
Andrew graduated with honors from North Carolina State University in 2006 with a degree in Business Management. Before transitioning into residential construction full-time, he worked at Vanguard and Bank of America, primarily in personal finance and risk management roles.
Today, Andrew manages the business operations and finances of Artistic Contractors while maintaining a hands-on role in individual projects, including planning, budgeting, construction and client relationships. As a licensed North Carolina real estate broker, he also helps clients find properties for their custom homes while identifying land-development opportunities for the company.
Andrew’s experience includes managing every stage of multimillion-dollar luxury residential development, from acquisition and planning through permitting, construction and sales. His combination of financial expertise, real estate knowledge and construction experience plays an integral role in Artistic Contractors’ two primary areas of work: building custom homes for clients and developing luxury residential properties for sale throughout the Charlotte area.
Project Manager | Construction & Quality Control
Tim Price brings more than 35 years of construction experience to Artistic Contractors. He began working in the trades at age 14 and has since built experience across nearly every phase of residential construction.
Before joining Artistic Contractors, Tim worked as a Project Manager for other custom home builders, giving him years of experience managing complex residential projects in addition to his hands-on background in the trades.
At Artistic Contractors, Tim maintains a strong on-site presence, coordinating subcontractors, monitoring schedules and construction progress, and overseeing quality control and craftsmanship throughout the build. His broad field experience helps him anticipate problems, resolve issues quickly and make sure complex details are executed correctly.
Tim plays a key role in delivering Artistic Contractors’ luxury custom homes and major residential projects throughout the Charlotte area, helping carry each project from plans and specifications through construction and completion.
