Extensive Home Remodeling Project In Providence Plantation
This project was an extensive remodel. This home was transformed from a 1970s ranch into a mid-century modern home that is one-of-a-kind to the Charlotte area. On the exterior, this home is finished with tongue and grove cedar siding and large cement board panels cut and trimmed into a specific random pattern. The staircase is cantilevered outward and has a floor to ceiling window that opens to the natural elements in the 2acre front yard. On the interior, the staircase has an open riser design and floats without walls underneath to keep the space more open and modern.
This project was featured in the Charlotte Observer for its unique design and construction plan.
